Block Printing Workshop at Camus House, 4th January

Join Jenna from Sychar's Well on 4th January for a New Year's, creative and experimental morning block printing either your own set of napkins or a cotton cushion cover, at Camus House, one of the most beautiful and historic homes in the country.

Our workshop will run from 10.30am until 2pm. After some warming apple juice to kick-start the morning, the workshop will begin with participants learning about pattern making, and will spend some time experimenting with Jenna's own handcut Christmas-themed blocks to create your own unique pattern. After learning printing techniques and test printing on paper, you will hand print your own unique pattern on either a set of four fine cotton napkins or on a plain cotton cushion cover which you can take home and treasure- but importantly, which can be used in your home.

Guests will be provided with refreshments during the workshop: scones, cream & jam, sweet treats, and tea & coffee.

Guests' seating for the workshop will be split between the homely kitchen and the cook's quarters at Camus House.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.
